Hello blue skies! There is nothing more inspiring to me than a beautiful clear day. On this day in particular, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, the temperatures were in the low 70s, and the sun was shining. On days like this, it is a crime to not incorporate color into your outfit, or at least it is in my book.
The possibilities are endless when mixing and matching color. This day was all about blue hues, from my denim jeans to my periwinkle tassel earrings. I tied it all together with neutral staples including a Louis Vuitton bag and my Oka B camel Matea ballet flats.
I encourage you to play with color during these warmer months. Think monochromatic, ombre, or even opposite colors on the color wheel. A pink or yellow blouse would look fabulous with a pair of turquoise drop earrings, a pink dress with a light pink belt, or even light blue gingham shorts with a navy top…Play! Adding color to my daily look puts a pep in my step. What inspires your daily looks?
Eeek! So I kind of love every individual piece of this outfit and I will explain why. This 1.State top I love because it is less than $40 and it is so flirty and feminine that it will pair well with almost any bottom. These J Brand jeans and the perfect skinnies and they are sooo soft!! The white Aella blazer feels like yoga clothes and will carry me through sprung and summer. As for my Marc Fisher platforms, obsessed!! I have been living in them, and I can because they are the most comfortable shoes I own. What is your favorite piece?
Atlanta cannot make up its mind about what season we should be in. We have gone to shorts weather to coat weather and back to shorts weather. Once it hit warmer temperatures I switched out my wardrobe, there is no turning back now. The outfit in this post is the perfect ‘tween-er look. The white Vince skirt is the Spring component, the Banana Republic sweater is the winter component, and the pink suede JCrew pump is the perfect pop of color to tie the outfit together. What are you wearing in mother natures whirlwind?
