I’ll Drink to That

…Atlanta’s first cidery is now open!!

I'll Drink to That

I recently attended a tasting at Urban Tree Cidery. If you haven’t been yet, you are in for a treat, a liquid treat.

Urban Tree Cidery is a family owned and operated cidery. It is located in Atlanta’s West Midtown area on Howell Mill Road, Urban Tree joined other craft breweries nearby in setting the foundation for the neighborhoods renewal. The Cidery is on a currently undeveloped part of the Beltline and will be actively participating in helping the Beltline to take the next steps in it’s growth.

Not only do I love their cider but I love that they have a full bar with a liquor license. This way they are able to demonstrate the diversity of cider and how it plays quite well with other spirits.

During the tasting, I tried four varieties of cider- Original, Classic, Barrel Aged, and Jalapeño Ginger (seasonal). They were all delish, which made choosing a favorite pretty difficult. I narrowed my favorites down to the Classic and the Jalapeño Ginger.

I am so excited to take my husband to Urban Tree so he can experience the ciders and wonderful atmosphere The Resuta Family has created. I hope you all have the chance to visit Urban Tree and indulge in Atlanta’s newest gem.

Does this top look familiar? It was the top I put on the mannequin at the Macy’s event. I loved it so much that I had to buy it. So much for out of site, out of mind. Instead of pairing it with white ripped jeans, I paired it with black DYI ripped jeans. I work in a laid back environment so I wore this exact look to work one day. If I was meeting friends for drinks, I could 86 the black tank underneath. If I was meeting clients, than a pencil skirt would button this look up perfectly. I love the utilitarian look, it has been a trend for a while and I don’t foresee it going out anytime soon.

Here are some other utilitarian pieces  I love as well:

Yay! It is my favorite time of year, Spring! It is warmer and the city is brought back to life with all the wonderful Spring colors. This is the time of year I get the most out of my closet. The evenings can still be cool, so I don’t feel terrible if I occasionally wear all black and alternatively, I am constantly playing with/mixing and matching colors…It is the best of both worlds.

This is also the time of year where I do a closet swap out. I swap out my winter and summer wardrobes. I move all of my tank tops and short sleeve shirts to the front of my closet and all of my long sleeve shirts and sweaters to the back of my closet. While doing this, I also purge items I am no longer in love with and then donate them. I highly suggest doing this twice a year. Spring and Fall are the perfect times to do this because your spring and summer wardrobes and fall and winter wardrobes can be interchangeable.
